Tio Andy's Birthday

We went up to LA for Andy's birthday. It was an adventure, to say the least. We got up there on Friday night to the smell of smoke in the air. Needless to say, we were evacuated from my parent's house at 4:30 am. We drove to Andy's house and all of us - 6 adults and 3 kids stayed at his house. We had a lot of fun hanging out. We ended up going to Santa Monica to breathe fresh air. We had to stay indoors since the air quality was terrible. We made the best of it. Drew got to sleep in a dinosaur bed, and I got to sleep in a Hello Kitty bed. :) All in all, it was a fun-filled weekend celebrating Andy's 38th birthday with the family.

Cooking with Mami

My friends and I started a cooking club where we meet once a month and cook a new recipe. Giana wanted to make sure she helped me make a yummy recipe. She's quite the cook, already.

Nap time????

Some fun shots of Giana!

So, I put Giana in her swing when I went to take a shower and this is what I saw when I came out. Looks like she's comfortable, huh? Hilarious!

Hanging with Jake #2

Giana hanging with Jake at his baptism party. They are so cute together. At least this time she didn't suck on his arm. :)

Buggy Ride at School

Giana and her friends from school love taking a ride in the buggy. The teachers take them for a stroll during the day. They say she absolutely LOVES it!

I love my earrings!!

Giana got her ears pierced yesterday. She was so excited (well, I think Mami was excited)! She did so good. She didn't even cry. I think the sound of the gun scared her, but she was such a big girl. We think she looks SO pretty with her earrings!
I'm SO excited!!

Yea! I have my ears pierced! Don't I look pretty?

Happy Halloween!!

On Halloween night, we went to our friends Dan & Laura's house to hang out in their neighborhood. They close off the streets to allow the kids to trick-or-treat without any cars. Giana went trick-or-treating and got Mami & Papi some yummy candy. She loved hanging out with Lucy & Sam too.

Pumpkin Carving

Drew & I always carve pumpkins on Halloween, so this year it was a lot of fun sharing our tradition with Giana. She wasn't quite sure what to think of the guts of the pumpkin. She rather not touch it and just look. :)

Fall Festival

We went to Fall Festival at my school. Giana loved seeing all the kids dressed in costume. Kerri, Adrian and Ava joined us too!

Jugando con Abu

Me encanta jugar con mi Abu (I love playing with Abu). Siempre nos divertimos juntas (we always have fun together).

My Baptism

Giana was baptised on October 19. She got baptised at the same church where Drew & I got married. Giana was alseep the whole time until they poured the water on her head. After that, she was all smiles. She just loved being in her beautiful, white dress from Argentina.

Hanging out in L.A.

Sleepover at Abu's house - what fun!

Cheese!!

We went up to L.A. to visit my family in September. Giana loves hanging out with her cousins Cala and Natan. Cala is so fasinated with her younger cousin - she is such a great help too! Giana just can't get enough of them.

I can sit all by myself!

At 6 months, Giana started sitting all by herself. Now, at 7 months she's on all fours trying to figure out the hand-leg coordination. We better start baby proofing the house!

Eating food is fun!

Well, at 6 months Giana starting eating solids. We started out with brown rice cereal and she loved it. Now, we've moved on to sweet potatoes, apples, peas and bananas. What's next? She loves making raspberry sounds when she's eating, which means the food goes all over Mami and Papi. It can make quite a mess, but it's lots of fun for Giana. :)

Look at me at 6 months!

Giana is now sitting in her stroller like a big girl. She can now see the world, instead of staring at Mami & Papi. She loves running with us and going to the zoo.

QT with Grammie

Grammie flew in from Arizona to spend the week with Giana in August. She watched Giana all day as I had to go back to work. They had a lot of fun together reading, swinging, singing and just hanging out.
